Comments Thread For: Pacquiao's Fate To Be Decided By NSAC in June or July

Bob Bennett, executive director of the Nevada State Athletic Commission, says the entire situation with Manny Pacquiao's right shoulder injury is "unacceptable."

Last Saturday night at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Pacquiao dropped a twelve round unanimous decision to Floyd Mayweather Jr. Following the match, promoter Bob Arum of Top Rank revealed that Pacquiao suffered a right shoulder injury in early April.

While Arum claimed that the NSAC was aware of the injury, they denied that information and claim to have been informed about 90 minutes before the fight was scheduled to take place.

Lame, NSAC covering their tracks, alot of fighters have went into fights with undisclosed injuries and later admit they went into a fight injured win or lose. How come they are not suing those other fighters who disclosed their injures in the UFC or Boxing? Maybe because it wasn't on such a grand stage and the head of the commission screwed up in his handling of this.

NSAC screwed up, if Pac admit to injure 2 hours before the fight CANCEL it if you let it go on that means you allowed an injured man to fight, they just don't want to be blamed, they are just as guilty because they let it go because it was too much money to cancel it, if that guy didnt want any problem just give Pac the LEGAL pain killers.

        This whole thing is shady.

ha ha ha, the NSAC, the best Commission $$$ can Buy...

Why did they not allow the Anti-inflammatory Drug to be given Pac???

The same Drug that is legal, in Nevada, and used, by Floyd, in all his Fights!!!

Also Floyd. That's why he kept pulling on his arm.

His adviser took responsibility the other day? It was all a 'mistake'?

Just sounds like sorry excuses. Many lost respect for Pacquiao over this.

What can the NSAC do now...Floyd already said he wants to rematch him and Floyd calls the shots in Nevada. The NSAC needs to take a pill.
