  • Boxers who have fought thru serious injuries against elite opponents and still WON

How about a thread celebrating the real ring warriors in the sport who fight thru injury against tough opposition and STILL emerge victorious.

Roy Jones Jr. UD12 Bernard Hopkins (fractured wrist)

Tommy Hearns MD15 Wilfred Benitez (Fractured hand)

Floyd Mayweather UD12 Jose Luis Castillo (rotator cuff injury)

Timothy Bradley SD12 Manny Pacquiao (both feet injured)

Feel free to add on if i'm missing any others

Even though he wasn't fighting top competition, Gatti broke his hand every five minutes, and he won quite a few matches with a broken hand.

Should've been a wide pts win for Chambers.

This is a good example of what it looks like when you have a serious arm/shoulder injury in the ring...you're not gonna be able to punch with it at all, or even lift it.

what does it matter if you dont win?

bradley lost against pacquaio, mayweather lost against castillo.
