  • "It's not how you win, as long as you win."

That is not something you want to hear from a fighter proclaiming to be the best ever. Especially, in his career defining fight (in the eyes of most)

That right there tells you everything you need to know about how much he cares about giving the fans a show.

I'm really glad this whole thing is over, and will be happy when both fighters are gone from the sport.

Not taking away from Floyd as a fighter, or from his performance...I was a big fan of his once upon a time.

I can see 9-3. And yeah it was one of the easiest fights of Floyds career. Ortiz, Oscar, Mosley, JMM and Hatton gave Floyd more trouble than Manny.
I thought Marquez lost every second of their fight. Manny landed 1 or 2 flurries at least, lol. I had the same score, BTW.

      • I had it 9-3 as well, giving Manny 4, 6 and 10. I was not shocked when I heard 118-110.

You must really prefer a certain style gmc.

To me 9 and 10 were clear Pac rounds even though they weren't "big" rounds like 4 & 6.

Marquez was a reach but damn JMM atleast was trying his damn hardest. Pac look defeated after round 1.

On your comment Its not Floyds job to be something hes not. I think people really forget that hes been a pro fighter since 1996. Thats 19 years or so. Hes an old man.

Its his job to win the fight. Nothing else.

Pacquiao said it best" If he stood still I could hit him".

It would seem that way...but even kobe said his doctors or trainers revealed he was playing for a long time w/ a tear. Also...Floyd said he went into the castillo fight w/ a torn cuff. He wasn't unable to use it.. I've had the injury & couldn't lift my arm past my shoulder at first & then it felt better & gradually was able to use it. Going side to side I was fine. But upward...no go. All depends on the severity of the tear...location etc. I suppose.

Floyd did just enough against a compromised fighter to get points and win. Didn't dominate or make any kind of statement like some here have been pretending. He landed the least amount of punches of his career. He spent the night running from the one-armed man from the Fugitive
Give it up, Prince! The time for excuses is over. Pacquiao got schooled by an unmotivated Floyd. No need to sound like a sore loser like your hero. The facts are the facts. Mayweather is better than Pacquiao and no blind personal hatred will change that. This fight really exposes the real Pacquiao fans from the fake ones. The fake ones A.K.A Pacfarts are still desperate and deluded because they really think Manny is on the same level as Floyd and bought into the injury excuse.

I know, man. He's not even a Pacquiao fan, just a Top Rank fan. People are weird.

I love that "lol" he threw at the end to mask his true feelings.
