I doubt he loses the lawsuit but it will drag on and make headline and the point is this is just another layer, adds another black eye to really a horrible event for boxing. Unless you are Mayweather and Pacquiao's accountant this was just a big loss for everyone involved. This fight probably set boxing back 5 years or more. It will be really hard to get casual fans to spend a dime or waste a minute on boxing now.

Manny is going to have to hold back the huge charity donation that he is going to make because he is going to get sued left and right.

His team has done him wrong.

Arum is trying to do things the old way, not realizing this is the information age where every word, audio or written is digitized and immortalized. Also, everyone has access to the same info simultaneously. Pac team is incompetent and cares more about their greed.

Proof? What proof? There's absolutely no way for them to prove that Manny would've beaten Floyd if he didn't have that injury during their fight. This is some pure comedy gold complaints from people who would like to be instant millionaires.

It would be better if they sued both Manny and Floyd along with Top Rank and Showtime for false advertising LOL. At least that might have a very very tiny leg to stand on. People were told that it would be "a very exciting fight". People were told that both camps would go for the KO. They were completely mislead. Maybe in this scenario, the court would pity them and at least refund their tickets/ppv payment LMAO

This appears to be a nuisance suit at face value but it actually has some genuine validity.
Pacquiao and friends protected their own self interest and broke Nevada law while disregarding the interests of those paying his extraordinary salary for this debacle. Cable companies will be flooded with protests come billing time.

I believe Bob is a Harvard grad, so he had to know what the fall out would be, and must be confident that any law suit would not grow legs in a court of law.

I've been very critical of Freddie Roach, who I think is overrated as a trainer, but a good promoter who knows boxing. I believe he knew Manny was over matched, but knew with a good showing there was a possibility for a rematch. I'm not sure with Arum's cut, Freedie, and Kontz's cut that Manny would be able to finally satisfy his tax problems.

When Manny was schooled, and embarrassed, they came up with the shoulder issue, with the hope of getting a rematch.

Somebody is watching this fight again, and counting the right hands he threw after the 3rd or 4th round. I watched it again, and didn't see any hint of him having a problem with his shoulder.

That's what I've been thinking too. If he gets popped for PEDs oh man will his reputation take a nosedive. Would they make him return the fight money in that case? Anyone know?

Not sure if it's gonna hold up...

The judge might dismiss the case on grounds of betting on a hypejob.

                      Hypejob 101:

The guy was cutting weight to fight smaller guys at the lower weight divisions.

Came up to the big leagues and forced his opponents to catchweights.

Got KO'd by a lightweight turned welterweight, then changed his game plan to forcing jr. welterweights to come up to welterweight.
