I blame unknowledgable boxing fans , or as most people say the "casual fan" for pumping so much hot air into this fight . Most, who aren't emotionally vested in wanting to see Floyd fall off the top spot know and knew that there are much better fights out there . Idiots like Skip Bayless pump people up with so much garbage it becomes very infectious . So much so that it spills over into the casual fan department and then we have a so called Mega Fight . Real boxing fans know that we get so much more out of people like Thurman , Brook , Lomenchenko , GGG , Kovalev , Walters and Mikey Garcia fighting that a Mayweather / Pacman fight is mostly a hot air balloon . Within the last 6 months Kovalev/Pascal was hands down the most enjoyable fight , dispite the fact that my guy (Pascal) lost .

Do this fight for the fans. Mayweather's contract with Showtime will be completed so do not do this on PPV, do it on PBC. Don't do it for the money. Do it for the sport of boxing. If Haymon is really serious about bringing boxing to the masses and he still has the backing at that point, and is not yet in prison, he should bring this fight to FREE NETWORK TELEVISION. It would pay back everyone who got burned on the first fight.

That would be the only thing that would give me a reason to support Haymon and the PBC. It would prove that he only has the best interests of the sport and the fans in mind.
