Khan is a more famous name than Brook but i bet if Brook and Khan fought in the UK, Brook would have more support. Support = Money.

Brook has that strong hometown Sheffield support, especially now he's world champ, like Froch does with Nottingham and Hatton did with Manchester. Khan doesn't really have that with Bolton.

Maybe its because Khan is basically an American based fighter now but when he fights in America, you don't get that strong British following that you would get if Brook went over to fight now as world champ or if Froch did.

If Khan did fight Mayweather though i'm sure plenty of British people will jump back on the bandwagon but in all reality his star faded in the UK since he got flattened by Garcia.

Right from the horses mouth and after Amir did a runner from Brook, Khan is no longer even the top welterweight in England !
Americans only remember a flat footed Garcia knocking Khan from pillar to post and Khans success against Alexander being badly dented by the fact that Brook did a job on Porter who had already done a job on Alexander !!

Bob Arum clearly has no clue about the UK. Amir Khan is far more well known in the UK than both Kell Brook and Carl Froch combined. Even people who don't know a thing about boxing know who Amir Khan is in the UK.

Is he heck, I'm from the UK and only boxing fans no who Kell is. Amir Khan is well known in the world not only for his boxing. Even my mum knows Khan, for crying out loud Kelly Brook is more famous than Kell.
