Lay Off Manny Already/Chavez De La Hoya 1 Similarity

Jeez, give Manny a break already now NSAC is gonna make more of an ass of itself by giving out a punishment. No wonder people hate government agencies. They act like the world is high school. Talk about a trivial, petty thing to do. All for what was probably a paperwork error and we still do not know the truth about it. He might not checked the box, but he informed NSAC of the injury by other means prior to the fight.

As for everyone pouring on Manny, it is just way too much. You guys are complaining about Manny more than he is complaining. You're all a bunch of drama queens. For instance saying his complaining is gonna effect Manny's legacy. That is just ridiculous. Every1 acts as if this is new. Every fighter rarely admits that they lost unless it is by ko. Fighters are prideful and every single fighter who loses uses the phrase I don't want to make excuses, but.....

It is a normal part of the sport, and everyone here is acting like Manny just invented it. There is a difference though Manny actually had an injury and NSAC refused him treatment. It is different than Bradley bcuz Bradley injured his feet by running for his life during the fight. Floyd did not inflict this injury to Manny with his offense. Manny had an injury during training which got worse during the fight, it is that simple. So lay-off already. Great fighters always react like this. This reminds me of the 1st Chavez vs De La Hoya fight. It is identical except one had a previous cut and the other had a shoulder injury. And no one can say that Chavez's injury did not effect the fight, it was bloody apparent. Same thing with Manny.

Oscar beat the hell out of chavez... Chavez was faded as hell, losing to journeymen like Frankie Randall, and had already been exposed by Whitaker and to a certain extent meldrick... Oscar was prime and pretty much at his peak when he fought chavez..

Manny was still a top p4p guy and floyd wasn't some young fresh lion like Oscar was..

I fail to see the similarities

I am talking about the injury similarity and all that came with it. Like Manny Chavez did not want to postpone because is was such a huge event. Like Manny Chavez made the wrong decision. The whole aftermath is pretty similar, people were pissed at Chavez for coming in the fight injured. Everyone felt ripped off bcuz of it too. BTW Randall was no journeyman he was a solid good fighter. Also Manny is past his prime just like Chavez was, he was also the smaller guy just like Chavez was. And stop already with the phrases "expose" and "outclassed", God people use these terms more than necessary. Expose means he was shown to be a fraud or something. And outclassed, how was Manny outclassed when Floyd landed fewer punches on him than any fight he has ever been in.

Maybe because Manny landed the fewest he ever has and threw the fewest he ever has and got outlanded almost by double..and hell Floyd out threw him man, thats how gun shy he was

Outclass means a total blowout like Terry Norris vs Simon Brown rematch. Saturdays fight was not a blowout.

Man Manny got out classed sorry but its the truth... You could watch the fight and see the different levels. Manny is a great fighter but Floyd is just a greater fighter. They could fight 10 times and Floyd wins all 10
