This is the dude who basically took it on the chin when he got jobbed in the first Bradley fight, so when he talks about this injury, I'm inclined to believe him (on top of sparring being cancelled and a sparring partner confirming his shoulder got hurt).

I know people on this site get bent out of shape when fighters make excuses - but if he had a bum shoulder, is it so bad he mentions it? Does he pretend it never happened just to appear classy?

The thing regarding the vitamins and water is kinda weird too. I would like to hear more on that.

we waited years for the fight, we coulda have waited a few months for him to sort out his shoulder issue...im sure it was a factor but to keep bringing it up just kinda irks me

Floyd fans got all the bragging rights they could ever want and yet still seem strangely angry at Pac for providing some context to the fight. It's bizarre

Is it in the contract that the loser is tasked with selling the rematch? Ridiculous.

I feel you, I felt irritated by Haye when he went down the toe route (but that was more linked to his own nonsense all the way along in the lead-up to that fight).

I think the biggest mistake Pac's team made was not postponing it. I think they figured the whole thing was such a huge juggernaut that they could not stop it. A poster on this site (I forget who) said something which I thought was interesting - that Floyd would have postponed it if he was that (seemingly) affected. Mayweather does not compromise in his will to win. He would have taken the crap that came from cancelling it.

Ultimately, it's kind of a non-factor because I don't think Pac could ever overcome the style/size of Floyd.

But I do feel fighters reserve the right to bring up something seemingly important in their preparations for a fight that disrupted them.

Floyd needs to give Pac a rematch when Floyd is ready. I suppose Floyd is going to deny he knew about the injury now, after tugging at it for 12 rounds?

Be a gentleman Floyd, there is far too much controversy here. People will always use it as a reason to deny you otherwise that is the alternative. And it is a reason, not an excuse.

                    Reasons are valid. Excuses aren't.
