Floyd won clearly, but the fact of the matter is that a Pac fight is still the biggest fight for Floyd (and Manny) for his last fight. A rematch with Manny would end his career with the highest possible pay day.

Pac fought so ******, tbh. He bum rushed Floyd in straight lines all night and let Floyd dictate the pace all night. That was a terrible night for Roach, I have no idea what he was thinking. FLOYD neutralized Pac, of course, and played a major part in this..... but Roach/Pac made absolutely no adjustments, they fought as if they were fighting Rios.

There was absolutely no footwork from Pac, he threw combinations in spurts and there were far too little, and his approach to getting inside of Floyd's defense was lazy and sloppy. In a rematch I still pick Floyd, but there's NO way Pac could do any worse then he did Saturday night. Roach will have to work on Manny coming in at different angles and MAKE SURE that Pac throws far more combos then just doing it every other round or so.

Maybe it's Pacs age, or a terrible gameplan/night by Roach, or maybe it's the injury, and Floyd was better, Floyd IS better..... But the way they approached that fight was just awful and they basically minimized their (Pacs) chances of winning by fighting Floyd like he was a punching bag (Rios)
He's been too tentative since the Marquez KO, few fighters recover from such a KO so it's no surprise he didn't go for broke.

I stand by believing 2010 Pac gives him a very close tough fight. He'd go for broke.

Yeah there was no urgency and he didn't go for broke at all.... but even if he was going to fight as "relaxed" as he did, he could of still had more success if his approach to getting to Floyd was a bit different. There were no feints, no footwork to create himself some better angles. It was just an all around lazy and sloppy approach and they literally fought Floyd as if he was just gonna stand there and block punches with his head

so the fighter with the torn up shoulder who couldn't spar was the one pressing the action in the "Fight of the Century" while the winner ran backwards and pittypatted? lol

I'm so glad this whole thing was the dud I said it would be, it may have been bad enough to prevent a rematch. Floyd would win again, in the same way. The only way to beat him is to fight like him and if that were the case nobody would bother watching.

Well FLoyd was grabbing and holding on when they were being broke by the ref. He kept holding on as they were separated. So it does seem to match that allegation.

Reckon, they mixed the 3rd and 4th rounds initially. you could see when Manny had Floyd in the corner he backed off.

If the injury is legit, wait for the MRI to be released. But the way its been handled is ridiculous. Should have given Floyd his glory, be humble about like he usually is, than release a presser with all the details a few days or week later.
