He went to jail before he could fight Holyfield. Tyson was managed perfectly, not carefully. He was a shell by the time he fought Lewis and frankly it's not even debatable.

He was a killer until he mentally quit in his biggest fights.

It's start to get boring listening to Tyson's complains about Mayweather and Pacquiao.

Tyson's corner said he wanted out after the 6th or 7th but they didn't pull him out. Having a good chin doesn't mean you never give up, it just means you can absorb punishment. Look at Pacquaio vs Mosley, are you going to tell me Mosley didn't give up because he got up and finished the fight?

Educate yourself before you embarrass yourself next time.
Being that Tyson/Lewis was one of your first fights It would seem that you are the one that needs educated. Watch a few fights and learn what "giving up so easily" means. Take a look at Cintron and Ortiz and learn what giving up means.

Did u not watch boxing in the 80's. Tyson was the rare fighter whose prime was 20-25, not age 26-30. His Ko's of Berbick, Spinks, Holmos were vicious. Holdfield maybe beat him in 1990 too, but just as pac wasnt the same fighter on Saturday as he was in 2010, Tyson wasn't the same in 96-98 as he was in '86-88

Brother I'm wondering if you're mentally challenged or something? or am I the one confused because I'm pretty sure the Lewis fight was in 2002, not yesterday, and you're talking of Ortiz and Cintron like they happened before I started watching boxing and I wouldn't know of them (yes they are quitters). I've been watching boxing for over a decade so that is long enough to know when someone gives up so easily especially after the things he said before the fight about crushing skulls and eating children so yeah he gave up easily, deal with it.

Tyson was only a killer in fights he was supposed to easily win, I don't think people realise how poor a lot of his competition was. People often chastise Floyd for not beating fighters in their prime. What HOF'ers did Mike beat apart from Larry Holmes?

I'm not saying Floyd/Pac are exempt from criticism for the lack of action in Saturdays fight but Mike should be the last to level it at them. He did not produce in his biggest fights end of.

Lennox Lewis was not even a pro when Tyson was champ for yrs. Lewis was. It a contender until after Tyson was out of jail. Tyson fought Everyone he could at the time. The pool of contenders wasn't huge but Spinks was thought to be a huge challenge at that time. We know how that ended.
Tyson was also supposed to fight Holyfield in 89 and Holyfield got injured.
From '85-'91 who did Tyson avoid???

LOL..you have 2 quitters on your list but Mayweather sucks, even when he hurt his hand he fought with one hand..no matter what you think of his skills he doesnt quit. FMJ has way more heart than Tyson ever had if Tyson couldnt scare you he was in a world of trouble.
