    How Floyd should go out

He gave the fans the fight we all wanted to see for years. We can't knock him for giving it to us as late as he did. We saw him go in there and do what he does time in and time out and Al Bernstein was on point regarding what would be Mannys' nightmare scenario that if he doesn't throw a ton of punches, he will not only lose the fight but lose badly. He threw less than Floyd and there was no excuse for that on Mannys part. If he was injured the fight should have been PPD. I know Floyd wouldn't step into that ring any less than 100% healthy for a fight. Anyway... is there a way that Floyd can fight anyone else to get our attention in a way that is anywhere marginally close to the attention he acquired by fighting Pacquiao?

Probably not, but I think what he could do to pop some eyes and have his fans worry and say "hold up a sec, are you sure this is a good idea" is by fighting a middleweight belt holder and make him come down from 160 to 154.5 lbs and fight for that belt as the challenger. Many fighters at that weight are on the record saying that they'd move down to fight Floyd at or near the Jr Middleweight area. why not surprise us and call one of them out.

We can knock him for giving it to us this late, just like we can knock him for giving us the cotto fight so late.

But he gave it to us. Late or not Pac threw too few punches, and that reach bothered him more than anything. Pac is just not built to beat Mayweather.
