Floyd dropping the titles to fight for the PBC title?

Any one else think that Floyd is dropping his titles so that Haymon can introduce his new PBC titles and Floyd will fight for that title in his next match?

So you expect Haymon to introduce his new titles on a non PBC broadcast on Showtime? Or do you expect Showtime to pick up the 32 million dollar tab for Floyd to fight on NBC or CBS or maybe Spike? You do realize that Floyd has a contract with Showtime, not PBC don't you?

I cannot see Mayweather soiling his legacy with a bush league title like PBC champion.

It just frees him up to do whatever he wants for his final fight and not have to go through the process of turning down mandatory defences and being stripped etc...

Maybe not the title but just fight on pbc maybe. Only thing is don't see how floyd would make his 50 million fighting on pbc
