Personally, I'm tired of all this **** and I wish both Floyd and Pac would take their sack filled with the $100 million they each conned the public out of and ride off into the sunset. Time for new blood. Lomachenko was by a mile the most impressive fighter on that card.
You know what's funny, I respect both these dudes but I can't f'ing wait for them to go and take a huge chunk of the trolls with them. I was critical of the shoulder thing until USADA confirmed it which gives it validity and all that but for ***sake don't say that last night, wait a few days. Let that information come out organically and all that. You were hurt back out of the fight, that's fine...just don't need a narrative about that shh too for years to come. It's sad that the sport is like hundreds of boxers deep and 90% of the talk is about these two men. And good luck selling a rematch of that.

i'd argue to say 116-112 is a 2 point swing to a draw so that's pretty damn close and therein lays the problem. It was close enough for another 5 years of arguments about this or that. Ain't nobody arguing Marquez vs Pacquaio 4. And I mean nobody...that's the difference i'm talking about. With two completely rabid azz fanbases both men have the only permanent shut up could come from a ko. It is what it is though.
So now every fight needs to be knockouts so that no1 complains about even the most obvious results. This one fight has caused so much butt hurt that people actually want to start changing the rules and expectations of boxing. Now that's some ish

Uhhhhh yes there are actually. There is a ****load of Pac fans that say "it was a lucky punch, and Pac was dominating him and about to knock him out so it's not really a proper loss, just a fluke"

Floyd won it easily. Boxing is only subjective up to a point, but when one guy very, very clearly lands more punches and hardly gets hit and clearly wins many more rounds, there is as little argument as Marquez vs Pac IV.

Nailed it. This fight was doomed from the start because the only way to have closure on this rivalry was a knockout and that was unlikely to happen, even 5 years ago.

Mayweather was never, at any point in time, going to get full or even any credit at all for defeating Pacquiao

If Pacquiao won, Mayweather fans would have said father time caught up to Floyd so it goes both ways but the fact of the matter is.. Mayweather won the fight, and anyone with sense really knows that but it will not stop Pacquiao's cult following and Mayweather haters alike, from pretending like the fight was even close and that Pacquiao won(LOL) we all knew this from the start..

              Im glad its over.

You can stop pretending this is "just another fight". This is 7 years of back and forth nonsense between two overactive fanbases, both sides and you know this. If you are a real boxing fan you know neither fanbase is very rational in humongous proportions. Either man losing on the cards was going to result in the same spinoff nonsense like this we are seeing. Had it gone the other way it would've been the same exact shh. This is something everyone here realistically knows. Again i'll say it, you can't find any excuse for a man not beating the count. Can't blame refs, crowds, water, ring size, or judges if that's the result.

I'm glad someone gets it. Shh no outcome but a ko would end the talk, mofo's would be making excuse no matter who won last night.
