For what it's worth even if Pac wasn't completely healthy that night it can even be argued he won that night.
Pac can be argued won it in a close fight.
Holyfield, Mosely saw it, I did too.
He was the affective aggressor throughout the fight and landed the heavier punches. You can argue Pac was the ring general pushing the action. And winning the heavier relevant punches and Floyd won on jabbing all night.
Jabbing all night vs heavier punches was the story.
There were close rounds that could have scored either way, but the hometown boy got the nod, after all his from Vegas. Watch the fight again, it will change most of your thoughts on the fight.
The swing or close rounds all went to Floyd, give it to Pac this fight is even or even a win for Pac.
Having to be a one armed bandit, makes it even amazing how he was able to even perform.Comment

All the legal wrong doing will fall on the Nevada State Athletic Commission. They don't have a case.
At the end of the day, they still knew about the shoulder injury before the fight. They had two choices to make, cancel the fight right there and then or allow Pacquiao to use the allowed numbing agent so there would be no complaints.
Even after discussions with all the doctors involved. They would have been told, it's too dangerous, cancel or they would have been told he's ok to fight and let him use the injections.
They chose to do neither. Case closed.Comment

For all the hype and money that was spent to have this fight happen, the fans got robbed by NSAC of a great fight, and they should be ashamed of themselves.
If Pacquiao had a shoulder injury and was allowed to use Lidocaine in training to deaden the pain, why wasn't he allowed during the fight? So Pacquiao was in better condition in training camp than the fight itself, which is outrageous.
Mayweather says he himself had injuries to his arm and hands and to make no excuses, but the fact is if he can use Lidocaine/Xylocaine for his injuries and Pacquiao was not, that is not a fair playing field.
With all the talk about PEDS and a fair playing field, it then came down to the use of Lidocaine/Xylocaine. One was allowed to use it and the other not. And it's the fans that were robbed of a great fight.
Morally the NSAC is also held accountable, for allowing a man who admit to injury to fight. Both parties are at fault, but NSAC is not exempt they are trying to cover their tracks, they knew this fight was too big to cancel yet refused to give Pac a shot.
They obviously had a dog in this fight, the one who brings more money to vegas. the one who was allowed to fight before going to jail.
I strongly believe Floyd wins against a healthy Pac as well, but the handling of this whole thing sickens me.Comment

Yeah, it's the nsac that must have ****ed Mannys shoulder up.
Your boy was a valiant and a dedicated professional. He knew that he had issues but he stepped up to fight anyway like any true professional would.
From Barnum and Baileys to Arum, the show must go on.
Take your loss, lick your wounds and look around yourself.Last edited by Rockin'; 05-05-2015, 09:30 PM.Comment
