Who came closer to taking the 0?

I say Maidana, then DLH, then PEDquiao in that order.

I didn't add Castillo to the poll because it's a general consensus that that was a robbery and even if it wasn't, I don't want this thread derailed on that fight as a topic, let's focus on the most recent 3 fights where it was close.

Probably Maidana imo. I have a ton of respect for Maidana, people dont realise the heart he showed in that fight to apply a freaking exhausting gameplan of mauling floyd non stop and impose his pace.

Btw you should have a mention for Augustus, guy wasnt really near to beat Floyd, but to this day Ive never seen somebody make Floyd work that hard.

      Maidana by a landslide.

That first Maidana fight was definitely the closest Mayweather came to losing bar Castillo. That fight showed that a bigger stronger guy could really rough up Floyd. The problem with Maidana was that he didn't have the stamina to maintain his rough and tumble style from the early rounds.

Chino, he was actually out-boxing and countering Floyd in spots in the center of the ring besides pressuring him and teeing off in the ropes.

Maidana. He won 5 rounds in that first fight.

And yes, you're right, Castillo did get robbed.

I wouldn't have had a problem with a draw for the first Maidana fight.

De La Hoya and then Maidana with a close 2nd.
