Cotto-Maywather II in 2016 with Floyd going for his 50th win and the lineal MW Championship of the world would easily get to 2 million buys and I feel Cotto is actually the only men in his realm that stands a chance to even be competitive.
Even more compelling for mayweather is that he could get the 50-0 and middleweight title with out having to defend the title and deal with ggg. Cause if he were to beat Cotto and get the lineal title along with his 50-0 absolutely no one would dare question floyds retirement.

      Poll coming
It's going to be Pacquio. The story line is already set up. The shoulder injury, the hand, it's gonna be Pac.

Floyd is finished with his career. I think he fights Garcia or mayybeee Khan. He's just looking for a smaller-scale sendoff fight.

Weight isn't th issue with Cotto it's his conditioning. If he can throw diva with may for all 12 rounds Floyd would be in trouble.

              I think Cotto beats a 155 Floyd

I also believe Cotto beats at 155 and also 154. If he is in proper condition

I think Cotto wins at 154 for sure. Gggs best asset is his strength. Every opponent he has faced says the same thing. He's extremely strong. No one says ggg out boxed me or his defense is impenetrable. Ggg will undoubtably will lose power at 154. How much not sure.

At 160 I think Cotto has a good chance. But ggg also has a great chance of knocking Cotto the buck out. Cotto would have to out box him and minimize getting hit a la Floyd vs Canelo.

Mayweather vs. Cotto II looks like the most likely option. I think that fight can get done since Cotto is a free agent when it comes to networks. I suspect that Mayweather Promotions in association with Haymon Boxing Management will get a deal done with Roc Nation Sports. Floyd Mayweather will try to go out in style with a 5th lineal title as Middleweight Champion, I suspect the catch-weight would be 157lbs.

This is going to be a send off fight, and really only two names fit in that plan...Garcia or Alexander. If I had to bet, I'd say we'll be seeing Mayweather vs. Alexander in September.

There is absolutely no way he'd step in the ring with Thurman. Although, I feel he would handle Thurman easily. If Bundu gave One Time problems, what would Mayweather do?

Khan can't make the fight date, so he's out of the picture. Once again, easy work for Mayweather as well due to Khan squaring up too much. I only like the idea of this fight for one reason...so Mayweather can go out like Ted Williams hitting a home run in his last at bat.

The fight that I really want to see, but won't happen is Cotto. The possibility of leaving the sport with three lineal championships would be huge. We can forget about all of that for several reasons though. Haymon vs. Roc Nation, Mayweather doesn't seem to care about the belts, and the WBC will probably strip Cotto anyway.

Brook...no where near ready for Mayweather! And as I just said, Mayweather is done chasing belts.

On to GGG...not big enough yet for Showtime and HBO to work together on a PPV to put this one on. Although I do hope that Floyd comes back next year and challenges GGG for 50-0 to finally silence everyone.

After all of that, we're only left with Garcia or Alexander. I can't see Garcia taking the fight even if Uncle Al told him to. Alexander on the other hand is tailor made for a send off fight.
