British star Amir Khan, who returns in a few weeks against former champion Chris Algieri at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, wants to face WBC/WBO/WBA welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. in the next twelve months.
Khan was ringside at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, watching the Mayweather secure a twelve round unanimous decision to gain the 48th win of his career with scorecards of 118-110 116-112 116-112.
Khan congratulated Mayweather on his victory and took to Twitter to say: "Well done @FloydMayweather great performance #EasyWork."
