Former world heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis was ringside at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas to watch Floyd Mayweather Jr. win a twelve round unanimous decision over Manny Pacquiao to unify the WBC/WBA/WBO welterweight championships.

Mayweather plans to fight in September for what he claims to be the final fight of his pro career. One name circling the rounds is British superstar Amir Khan, who returns to action later this month against Chris Algieri in Brooklyn, New York.

Khans foot speed can get him to the target and out fast, but he also must remember what just happen to Pac, you can have all the speed in the world, coming straight up directly at Mayweather with his timing is an bad idea. Then once your speed is nullified with his counters and straights, what is your plan B?

Amir Khan is only interested in the biggest pay day of his career. He knows that he can't beat Mayweather. He hasn't done enough to deserve the fight and I hope he doesn't get it.

Of course Mayweather wins but my biggest issue is how much of a waste this fight is, I'd rather he face Thurman. That's a serious challenge at this stage.

Either Thurman or Khan IMO. You guyz who say Khan doesn't deserve it have always hated him anyway. So why should anyone care what you say? I didn't like the guy much til he lost to Garcia. Then I saw how he brought in Hunter, changed his gameplan, ****** it up and got some Ws. But I'm good with either Thurman or Khan vs Floydie for his final track meet. Or maybe Roadrunner. Yeah, I guess Roadrunner would have the best chance.
