Mayweather would easily beat Khan. Khan was KOed by Garcia and just barely beat Diaz in England. Can anybody imagine Mayweather getting KOed by Garcia or struggling to beat Diaz? Khan isn't in Mayweather's class. Thurman should get the fight because the same Diaz that gave Khan hell and knocked him down was KOed by Thurman in three one sided rounds. Then Thurman beat Guerrero by a bigger point spread than Mayweather beat Guerrero. Mayweather should fight the proven, undefeated Thurman instead of loser Khan who has yet to avenge any of his losses. Khan has become a cherry picker who only fights about every 9 months. He is fighting weak punching 140 pounder Algieri right after Algieri lost to Pacquiao by a score of 120 to 104. Big time cherry pick. Pacquiao should have fought someone better than Algieri but at least Algieri was undefeated when Pacquiao fought him.

Idk that a Ramadan worth of fasting or w/e should be followed with a 7wk or so training camp for the biggest fight of you life. I think Khan is out as an opponent unless the Sept. date changes.

          Please NO.

Floyd has to face Keith Thurman and beat a young prime welterweight for once. If he fights and beats Thurman that's the best finish he can do and will silence many of his critics who still think he's a cherrypicker.

I don't want to see Khan get this fight. No freakin way.

ODLH, Mosley, Cotto, Pacquiao...past prime ..that's the damn truth.

Dont forget he already has a win against Canelo, a young prime super welterweight.

Canelo was a green junior middleweight and it was fought at a catchweight 152lbs.

Thurman is a strong welterweight and is pretty much reaching his prime.

Khan is a much bigger threat to Floyd than Thurman. Floyd has beaten fighters like Thurman before, but has never faced a fighter like Khan before. Styles make fights.

Khan is much better than Thurman. Floyd will do to Thurman what he did to Canelo.

Been saying this for years: Floyd allows Khan some limited early success. Khan gets excited and tries to push the pace. Jr knocks Khan out. End of. It would make a good, safe exit for Floyd.

That probably would have been true under Roach. But there's no way Virgil Hunter would allow Khan to get so excited and reckless. With Virgil Hunter in Khan's corner, I just don't see Mayweather's tactics being very effective against Khan.
