A lot of people really don't care who the judges score for, people come or pay to see a fight, not see someone running and tapping and win the fight. If boxing has to be saved, another true boxing sanctioning body has to be created with a different way of scoring system, and with default loss records for refusing mandatory challengers that prevent cherry picking.

I hard punch should always be higher in value than a weak jab.

Say a power punch is 4 points to 1 pt for a jab. It should be 4:1 ratio.

That way you don't jab your way to victory. It's pathetic.

Running too much without trying to engage should be a deduction on points, so it will encourage fighting.

And yes holding should be given a deduction if done intentionally to promote fighting.
