    Boxing Scoring Sucks

If boxing scoring stays like this, boxing would be continue to die as a sport. A lot of people really don't care who the judges score for, people come or pay to see a fight, not see someone running and tapping and win the fight. Tapping (powerless jab) is a score like straight power shots to the face? And no penalty for running and holding?

You hear the boos and that is the evidence. I'm sure you have seen it too in many other fights like one other fight won by Rigo.

If boxing has to be saved, another true boxing sanctioning body has to be created with a different way of scoring system, and with default loss records for refusing mandatory challengers that prevent cherry picking.

Boxing is currently on life support or it may have finally died last night, for many people.

It will survive for a long, long time. But it's posts such as yours that smears **** on the sport and degrades it in sooooo many different ways.

If boxing died in you over that fight than don't let the door hit you in your ass as you are leaving. And take your **** smearing with ya.

Do you know who has always loved smearing ****?

            Well said,

I hard punch should always be higher in value than a weak jab.

Say a power punch is 4 points to 1 pt for a jab. It should be 4:1 ratio.

That way you don't jab your way to victory. It's pathetic.

Running too much without trying to engage should be a deduction on points, so it will encourage fighting.

And yes holding should be given a deduction if done intentionally to promote fighting.

Pacquiao got out landed, and mentally dominated in the ring and no amount of crying from butthurt heartbroken fans will change that. I wanted him to win badly, but he barely won three damn rounds, get over it already.

Floyd landed more power punches than manny. Your argument is invalid.

Pac got beat. Floyd did what he wanted to do for the most part. Made it easy.
