I recall the Mayweather vs Alvarez fight had a recorded 5 million google searches the day after the fight and that pulled 2.2 million PPV buys.

Mayweather vs Pac currently has 10 million google searches for the day BEFORE the fight with the actual day still being counted. Could see it reaching 20 million.

The only other events to pull 10 million searches in the US are things like the presidential election, superbowl and the sandybrook shooting.

dunno how accurate this is but apparently HBO/Show are saying they expect it to pass 3 million buys so far
