Ideally he would have a farewell fight in the Philippines and then retire.

But realistically he'll still be fighting in 3-4 years time. Fighters don't walk away from this sport while they still command the kind of purses Manny can still get. It normally takes at least one horrendous beatdown to convince them that they're done.

Pac will go to 140, I'm pretty certain of it.

Fight Matthysse at 140 on regular HBO. It's the right PR move at this point. Any PPV will flop. He'll probably go to Macau.

I can see Pacquiao vs Matthysse

Outside chance of Pacquiao vs Khan in the UK, Dubai or Macau. I'm doubtful Pac will fight at 147 again so that's why I think a fight against Matthysse is more realistic.

He's going to rematch Floyd in September.
The seeds are already being planted.
Injured hand, injured shoulder, wanted to postpone the fight, etc etc.

Even if the rematch makes 1/4 of what this one did, it's still a lot of money not to consider it.

4-2 is more accurate, let's be honest. The 2 legit losses were against the best fighter in the world and the guy who's proven four times now to be his kryptonite.

Still, I think he should take a nice farewell match in Manila and walk away. He's still one of the best welterweights out there but he's not what he was.

Yes, this would be all action fast paced back-n-forth fan friendly fight. This is a Manny Pacquaio type of fight; an opponent who will engage with him and give him a lot of offensive opportunities.
