not really, it's never had all that much talent that could stay with the best HV's so far, other then Michael Morrer, Evander Holyfield and a few others

        Every fighter.

Cruiserweight is a weight class in boxing where previously contestants weighed between 176 and 190 pounds. Since 2003, the major boxing sanctioning bodies changed the weight to be between 176 and 200 pounds to attract better fighters and more fans. It was created as a separate category between light heavyweight and heavyweight, starting in the 1980s. Notable cruiserweight champions include Evander Holyfield and James Toney.

Ruiz has always been able to handle big fighters, but smaller ones have beenanle to beat him.

The cruiserweight class was created by the World Boxing Council in 1979

Well, everyones always talking about how the Heaveyweight divsion is dieing. To me it seems like it started dieing with the addtion of Cruiser. Tyson met Holyfeild, today fighters met Toney. They could make the Heaveyweight divsion much more intertesting.

I would say the crusierweight division is a good division right now not because they are loaded with exceptional talent but because all the fighters are very competitve with each other.

IWATCH there is no fighter that could crack an egg at the horrid HW division. Look what happened to the 2 kings of the division recently...Jirov has been beaten to a pulp and JC Gomez got iced by Yanqui Diaz...are we good now IWATCH?

Holyfield and Toney are all time greats...you cant just plug in an O'neil Bell or Guerrilmo Jones and call it good.

This is a moot point. fighters usually move up in weight, not down.
