Why does Floyd want to vacate his titles?

To let another guy win them and build himself up for a fight with Mayweather? Maybe?

    Thoughts ?

Because he has 1 more fight left and will choose who he wants to fight.

It just saves him the time and trouble of turning down mandatories and being stripped for turning them down. So he'll just vacate, let the new guys fight it out for the belts and he picks his last fight and retires.

Everyone knows he's the champ why pay the orgs fee's for those belts.

This is a huge possibility. Is it possible that Floyd fights on CBS network for free? I wonder if his contract allows it. I'm sure this fight alone made CBS investment in Floyd worth it.

No way. Mayweather would never fight for free.

The dude just made 100+ million. I doubt he would even accept anything less then 50 million.

Bingo! And with these millions, the fee should be significant, even if it is a small share percentage-wise...

Because he doesn't give a ****? Why should he keep them? Let the depth at welterweight fight for them now.
