He should just unify with Brook in Wembley then retire.

Mayweather is greater than Ali, then proved it against Sadam Ali.

That would be cool, him stepping outside of Las Vegas for his (supposedly) last fight. I think that would be the best way to go out.

Brook then call it a day. Then you have cleaned out the division except for Thurman but he can start his own reign if hes good enough.

I am pleased he thanked god first as that's what I bet on!

floyd mayweather is not going to retire. he can still make eight figures to fight a tomato can, and could probably do 2 mill buys in a freaking manny rematch.

People talk about Brook or Thurman but I wonder if that's going to be enough money for Floyd.

People knew Pac. People don't know who Brook or Thurman are.

                      My sentiments exactly.

I am so sad that I don't see any other BOXING FANS (not Manny fans specifically though), have the guts to come up here and express this sentiment.

Floyd's boxing is horrible. Depressing to watch. Yes, it is highly effective (with a lot of tricks and some cheating in it anyways), but still, horrible boxing to watch.

Also, and I am not looking for any excuses (Floyd really put Manny to shame last night), but Marquez, whether on PEDs or not, did more than half the job for Floyd, because he single-handedly took away all the fury and utter aggression from Manny, FOR GOOD. Historically, all boxers who have had a brutal knockout while being one of the top P4P fighters, have NEVER recovered from it. And Manny is not the exception by any means.

I still think that the featherweight Manny who beat Barrera, had a big chance to beat Floyd at that time. Even the featherweight JMM at that very same period of time, could have defeated Floyd, who is more a natural welterweight, while the other two guys are smaller guys naturally.

Anyways, Floyd may have killed boxing as for historic records and things like that (I mean, right now he could unfortunately be considered one of the top ATG, just because he obliterated a damaged Manny), but that won't stop me from watching boxing. I will just avoid giving much importance to any Manny or Floyd fights from now on. As a boxing fan I will watch any of their fights, but if there's another important fight at the same time or even a replay of A GOOD and entertaining fight, I will watch the latter instead.

Bottom line, it was an over-hyped fight and I feel so sorry for the people who threw their money down the drain to pay for an incredibly over-priced ticket that was not worth even a small percentage of its cost.
