I don't understand how anyone could have seen anything different. Skills pay the bills, end of story. The public consensus going into the fight was everyone picking Mayweather, but hoping Pacquiao wins. Mayweather was always the better boxer.

Other than than that I see PBF the best fighter of his generation with all the skills to be one of the best but never going to achieve that because His resume just simply doesn't cut it.
I think PBF would be remember as one of the fighters who had all the skills to be the best ever but he always avoided the true threats at the present time. Today he had the ability to ko pac and simply just played it safe. His dad begged for it and was on his ass all fight long to stop fighting scared.

All in all i thought i was a good, almost great fight. Manny buzzed Floyd a few good times.. i thought Floyd gave a few rounds away laying on the ropes and letting Pac unload on him. Still, Manny was too tentative at times and should've been far more aggressive, he was just too small in there. Floyds ability to good and even great fighters look average is undeniable. He's the best defensive fighter all time and unfortunately thats not gonna be appealing to masses who want Tyson like KOs.
Im not sure where Floyd goes from here.. There's only a few months to decide.

Not hating at all, Floyd did what he had to do. Why didn't Pac even try?
Granted Floyd can do that to people, but guys feint guys out of position then pull the trigger at the opening, when you slow down where you can feint a guy out of position, and you cant pull the trigger to get things rolling anymore, you are done.
Throw in legs that dont work anymore, and it was just sad. Pacman was a shadow of his prime self.
Floyd is still pretty fresh, but same way they were misleading people about Pacquiao, Maybe Floyd's recent opposition is misleading.
People were misled by Pacquiao in several ways. He was fed progressively less qualified opponents, and slower and slower opponents, interspersed with rematches with Marquez who aged with him, so we thought they were both still at the top of their game. for a while even as they were slipping.
I remember after the Cotto fight, calling the end of his prime, he showed his first signs of slipping in that fight, but it was masked by fights against guys like Clottey, and Margarito, who are still impressive, since he basically went from 126 to 154 in a little more than a year.
