Also look at the way he used his feet to close the distance vs Oscar and Margarito, and get away at angles.
Im not defending Pac, or saying he is more talented than FLoyd. Floyd is more skilled than Pac by a country mile, but Pac stylistically is bad for Floyd, as we could see from the moments when Pacquiao had his spots.
Floyd fights the same today as he did when he was 25. His reflexes are a little slower so he gets hit a little bit more, but not by much.
Pacquiao on the other hand, isn't half of what he was. He was a fighter that was defined by his energy in the ring. He is now an old man with no energy left.
Which is fine to beat the Bradleys and Algeri's and Rios' of the world, but its not what it was when he was running through Cotto and Margarito and Oscar, and Barrera and Morales.
Its not really debatable either. He was a clearly faded fighter. Half of the result is because of Floyd, but remember, the Marquez fights all happened because Pacquiao was the kind of fighter who would come in, take a counter, then be of at an angle firing back undeterred.
Tonight, we saw a man who didn't have the energy to do that anymore. It was sad.
We never got to see the two best fighters of their generation fight.
