Patrick Nielsen (25-1, 12 KOs) defeated Ruben Eduardo Acosta (30-12-5, 10 KOs) tonight in Copenhagen to set-up a potential Danish mega-fight with domestic rival Rudy Markussen.
Nielsen, who took the fight on short-notice, outclassed the former world title challenger to earn an impressive points victory. After ten-rounds of action, the judges scored the fight 100-90, 99-91 and 99-1 in favour of the Albertslund-boxer.
