The overhand right hook will be used by Floyd as a changeup to the right hand lead. The punch Floyd will keep in the toolbox is the left hook just as he did with Guerrero. Studying Manny he is very good at countering off the left hook. The early Floyd relied heavily on his left hook and wasn't comfortable fighting without the shoulder roll which is why southpaws were his nightmare. The Floyd we have today has evolved as a fighter in those respects, he fights well with his high guard and his right hand is thrown at lots of different angles and speeds now. He is much more prepared for Manny now than he would have been at the time he fought Judah.

This. Straight right hand down the pipe from distance, mostly single shots. And Floyd does know a bit about timing.. and for the record: I don´t really care who wins, but I do expect a great fight.

Most have already stated it's not an overhand, but the straight right he's got to worry about.

Not to pizz on the big event, but 100.00 for 3 fights is no bargain, and the main event is going to disappoint a lot of people. Manny had a better chance 6 years ago when he still had his " killer instinct ", and ironically if he was a right hander. He's perfect for Floyd, and unfortunately for millions of fans, May makes it look too easy. Straight right - left hook all night. Late TO or wide UD.

Folks keep thinking Maidana, bur Manny has a far more conventional style. He also resorts to throwing a right jab - Straight left combo when an opponent takes something away from him. Floyd will control the distance, and will be timing Manny from the 3rd on. Manny could score a flash KD in the first or something, it's possible, but this is Floyd's fight. Maybe Thurman for his last in September?

Bambam Rios hits harder than chicken Floyd. During his fight with the Pacman Bambam was able to hit the Pacman squarely to the face several times and Pacman took them without any problem.

And that's exactly the reason why Manny will more than likely lose. He gets hit way too easily. Power isn't everything. If a fighter has power and can't land it clean, it's useless. Floyd has the skills to make adjustments to Mannys weird style and to not get hit that often.

The fast right hand counter is an obvious weapon for Mayweather tonight, and a lead right could be even more effective, but watch for the right uppercut from Floyd when Pacquiao comes near. That might just be a key shot. Manny needs to stay busy all the way to get success but has to mix up his game at the same time. For sure he can't afford to be repetitive in what he's doing or Floyd will find a rhythm and that will be that. My heart wants Manny to dismantle the 'O' but my mind says Mayweather, the naturally bigger and stronger guy, wins it via craft and craftiness.
