Just like in mannys previous fights, he gets paid a certain amount that is reported to the nsac, and then makes most of his money on the backend. Manny was reported by the nsac to only have gotten 8 million for algieri, but then he made almost 25 million altogether once he got paid on the backend. The rest technically goes to mp promotions probably for tax purposes. Manny is getting cut a 25 mill check on Saturday, and will make the rest of his 80 mill guarantee on the backend paid to mp promotions.

He's pissed off that Top Rank has nothing to do with the promotion of the fight of the century, so he balks at the handling of it by Mayweather Promotions and MGM. He's pissed off that Pacman, his golden goose, was KTFO'd against JMM, the same JMM who was schooled by Floyd (after a 13 month ring absence one might add) and thus didn't have the leverage to demand anything during negotiations. He's pissed off that his tactic to "marinate the crap out of this mega fight" didn't pan out as expected and could've been part of the promotion in 2009-2011. He's just a pissed off old man that all he got out of this was a ringside seat and some sold tickets to VIPs.

Lastly, Bob should just stay quiet about Pacman fighting in the new MGM/AEG arena opening April 2016. First, let's see after tomorrow night how many mega fights does Pacman realistically have left. Second, he may want to be President of the Philippines more than a boxer, especially if he loses.

There really hasnt been that much promotion for this fight. Tickets went on sale 1 week before, and quite frankly "the promo" thats taken place has been pretty weak for a fight of this magnitude..
