Comments Thread For: Mayweather Sr: I'll Be Honest, Won't Be Much of a Fight

FREDDIE ROACH has studied every single one of Floyd Mayweather Jr's fights.

But Mayweather's father and coach Floyd Sr claims he has not watched a single minute of Roach's man Manny Pacquiao.

The American and Filipino go toe-to-toe on Saturday night in Las Vegas in what is being dubbed 'The Fight of the Century' and their trainers came face to face ahead of the clash.

But elder Mayweather is not worried about studying the man who could end his son's 47-fight unbeaten record.

Mayweather Sr, who once shared a ring with Sugar Ray Leonard, said: "I haven't watched a single tape of him.

"He can't punch, we are not worried about it. I'm going to have Floyd walk his ass down."

fought much better people? wtf? chris algieri? bradley? diaz? an already beaten ricky hatton? lose to jmm four times and fmj made it look easy...
i dont believe fms when he says he hasnt watched tapes..he definately has and on the night it wont be him doing anything other than gassing but, it will be easy for fmj and i truly believe he will have manny on the floor atleast twice.
as he said many times before, he takes away the effective skills of his opps and neutralises their work to that effect. he did it with jmm and this will be just as easy.
pacman will walk in and floyd will move pick and move pick and move.
fast fmj combos in anymore than two or threes would be a bad move but, he already knows that. he will use that right lead as a measure to gauge pacs speed and movement from it not as a power shot.
roach thinks thats all fmj has....lol ****.
its a gauging tool freddie boy.
fmj by ud with knockdowns of pacman.
pac is great no doubt but, nowhere near as great as floyd mayweather.

Manny can't punch? This is going to be a really short night if mayweather actually tries to walk pacquiao down. As for the part of sr not watching any tapes,im calling bull****. Theres no way in hell that your going to train someone for the fight of the century and not do your research on the opponent.
