Suspensions in boxing make no sense, really. It doesn't really hurt or affect the boxer at all as they are most likely inactive in that period anyway. I suppose a fine would make more sense but in a way we blow out of proportion the actions of boxers. Do we really expect them to be morally sensitive, intelligent guys? They are fighters, not politicians. ALTHOUGH, I do agree we shouldn't just give a pass to fighters for their ******ity, ignorance, or doing things that put the sport into disrepute.

I suppose fines, a warning system and a potential long ban after multiple offences can be a good solution.
