I have 16k posts because I always have to keep responding and checking you idiots...
The whole crux of our conversation
You- floyd doesn't want endorsements, he building his own brand, holding out for that "jordan" deal
Me- he doesn't have endorsments because he is a douche bag outside the ring
It's a pretty simple idea to understand that floyd don't get endorsements, it's because he is a douche outside the ring....
If floyd didn't want endorsements like you say, then how come everyone of his fights is covered in corona or tecate ads.. Why doesn't he just plaster his "Jordan" logo all over the ring? That would be great marketing for his brand?Comment

Floyd doesn't need any corporate endorsements , as they tend to put athletes on pins and needles . Slight of hand / slight of tounge, and their ready to pull your endorsement . It's really a ball and chain to be honest . Floyd is too vocal for that , and speaks his mind too much . I doubt if he'd wanna have his tounge tied . He probably enjoys his freedom of speech way too much for that .Comment

But I will give you credit,, your post does have some logic to it., I can respect that..Comment

Floyd has his own brand and chooses to keep it that way. There is nothing wrong with that. As far as him being a douche bag outside of the ring we need to look no further than Mike Tyson (**** & jail) or Tiger Woods (lot of kinky stuff) to see fallen athletes who have rebounded to get endorsement deals back. If Floyd really wanted to get endorsements I am sure that he could. As a matter of fact he just partnered up with Fan Duel the other day I believe.I have 16k posts because I always have to keep responding and checking you idiots...

Just because you don't like him outside of the ring and he does dumb stuff doesn't mean he is not marketable. If nothing else you should respect someone who wants to do there own thing and control there own fate. The guy is a good businessman no matter what you say and he has built his own brand without the big time sponsors that everyone else seems to need.
As far as his fights being covered in Tecate or what not, you must remember that he was fighting under Golden Boy promotions until his last fight when he got a license and those sponsors belong to them and not to Floyd. He still can have the Mayweather Promotion Banners up and he wears his TMT stuff to the ring so in essence he is sponsoring himself. In the end neither you nor I can factually state why he or anyone else does or does not have sponsors. We can only go off the information that we have been provided and make the best educated guesses possible.
It all truly boils down to if you like him, hate him or are indifferent towards him. I could care less what he does outside the ring really. I only watch him and all fighters for what happens inside the ropes. If he wants to be an idiot outside the ring then that's on him and he will suffer whatever consequences he creates just like the rest of us when we make mistakes or act dumb.Comment

That's right, Floyd enjoys too much freedom to be held hostage by a company for what "little amount of money" they offer him. I'm sure if a company offered him a life time deal that would make him part or majority owner of the brand he would take it.Floyd doesn't need any corporate endorsements , as they tend to put athletes on pins and needles . Slight of hand / slight of tounge, and their ready to pull your endorsement . It's really a ball and chain to be honest . Floyd is too vocal for that , and speaks his mind too much . Too bad some idiot in here can't grasp that concept.Comment

Even if the biggest companies won't touch him because of his past, you must be a complete idiot if you think he gets no endorsement offers at all.Comment

Floyd's statement is dumb.....
The highest paid fighters not named Floyd are not advised by haymon....
Maidana is under haymon but they treated him like dirt. You didn't see haymon stick for Marcos when he was forced to wear gloves he's not comfortable with.....Comment
