Yesterday - two-time World Heavyweight Champion George Foreman was on CBS Sports Radio’s “The Doug Gottlieb Show” with host Doug Gottlieb, where he talked about the Manny Pacquiao versus Floyd Mayweather Jr. fight on Saturday, May 2nd in Las Vegas. Below are some highlights from the interview:

On the Pacquiao vs. Mayweather Fight:

Talking honestly about what he thinks about “The Fight of the Century”, Foreman said: “This is major… boxing deserves something like this… I’m just happy the fight is happening, and it’s happening right now. Because everyone will get a chance to see what they wanted to see. If it had happened five years ago, there would have been some too young to enjoy [and] some old enough to say, ‘Hey, there was better days.’ But now everyone’s hungry for the matchup of the century. [These are] evenly matched fighters. It’s a fan’s fight, and it should be. It’s big.”

That would be great advice for Manny, if Floyd didn't adjust as well as he does. Manny cannot fight the next round like he did the last, he needs to be creative in each and every round, to off-set Floyd's adjustments.

What are you talking about I've never heard Foreman hate on Floyd once and actually said Floyd is an all around better boxer than him. He thinks Pac is gonna win (barely might I add). That's not hating that an opinion.

...call people haters when somebody likes another fighter more? I think Fraud is talented and a bit of an *******. Not just a bit, a big *******. I think Pac has the goods to beat him.

I don't hate Fraud, I dislike him and think Manny is better. Would I pay for a Fraud fight? NOPE never have. Manny? Hell yes. He entertains me.

As far as TBE? Fraud could NEVER fill those shoes as several fighters in the 80's and 90's would have whooped his ass. Duran, Leonard and Hearns are three.
