I think it was the 2nd as the pulev fight was on HBO meaning he'd be free to fight on any network if he came through the fury fight but I'm not 100% sureComment

Wilders' people want some easy title defenses to put on the US TV time that Haymon is buying. That wouldn't include Klitschko. Why does everyone understand this except you?Comment

No Wlad fans hype up Fury...in fact most ridicule him and don't see him being much of a threat, while some claim Fury is the biggest threat to Wlad. If you think Wlad is ducking Wilder i'm afraid it's you that DKSAB. Post a source where Wilder has said he wants to fight Wlad next. I'll wait.
Wilder wants an easy touch to fight for his first defense and is in no rush to get it on with Wlad, and Fury is the mandatory challenger for Wlad. Wlad can get rid of him and set up a unification with Wilder in early 2016, as is the plan...
No-one is ducking at the moment, but if you'd have to say someone it would be Wilder.Comment

The fuck?
If Wlad passes on Fury, he loses his title. And the main reason for fighting Wilder is that, if Wlad beats him, he becomes undisputed heavyweight champion for the first time since Lennox ****in Lewis.
There's a reason no other heavyweight in boxing would be a favorite over both Fury and Wilder; because Wlad will kick both their asses.Comment

Yes, Scotty hit the nail on the head. Wilder's people don't want anything to do with Wlad at the moment, and for good reason. Wilder is still a work-in-process and they are moving him along in a calculated fashion. He'll fight another two times this year and, if all goes right, he'll face Wlad next year in mega unification bout.Comment
