What you guys are debating about how PBC is failing is how UFC fans were saying boxing is dead for years. Yet, Mayweather - Pacquiao are expected to destroy PPV records. PBC started a month ago.
PBC succeeding or failing has nothing to do with boxing as a whole. Boxing was around before PBC and will be around long after. And Mayweather is not fighting under PBC. You don't like that many people are pointing out the flaws in PBC. You keep making it seem that if you speak the truth about PBC that means you ain't a fan of boxing. Or that if PBC fails boxing dies. No if PBC fails boxing still goes on and Haymon has some explaining to do with all the investor's who lost millions.

PBC is attempting to reach out to a wider audience by bringing boxing back to network television and displaying boxing on different networks. That's a flaw? Why don't you join Al Haymon's team since you believe you know how to run a multi-million dollar operation. You seem extremely knowledgeable on this but you're just on this forum posting complaints.

Haymon doesn't care about bringing boxing back. Haymon is not boxings savior. He is a con man trying to make himself money. Haymon has blocked more fights then he has created. And his goal is to create his own boxing league which means more division in boxing and more fights not happening. He already refuses to work with the other major promotors. Please tell me what putting on expensive mismatched infomercials just for his own fighters does for boxing? He could easily put on fights like Thurman vs Khan or Garcia vs Broner within his own stable. But instead we have each guy fighting a lesser opponwnt instead of the fights boxing fans have been asking for. Get Haymons junk out your mouth he cares nothing about boxing. And overpriced low quality PBC is not saving boxing.

I'm a fan of both Klitschko's. His clinching is not completely his fault. Most of the time it's his opponents lunging in and holding with one arm while trying to punch with the other. At that point, Wlad ties up. Most HW's these days aren't to adept at distance. If they spaced themselves correctly, they could punch inside Wlad's reach. But everyone just runs in forward with a big shot, than will hold on one side or the other.

I like refs that make you work out of the clinch, instead of breaking it up right away. The point deduction wasn't necessary. Jennings would hold and Wlad could do nothing, but get warned for the clinching.

The ratings would be fine if the costs were lower. But instead the costs are so high for these PBC shows with tv ratings that aren't high enough to overcome it and bring in sponsors to pay for it.
Other than a couple of Adamek's fights Main Events put some real trash shows on NBC. Honestly, who really wanted to watch the Curtis Stevens "bum of the month" show?

Good ratings for this era. What's Showtime got? Chavez-Fonfara 2 at 170? Damn. Showtime is dead.

It's a damn shame so many people had to watch such a crappy fight.

                      Wow that's really impressive.

                      Didn't Hopkins-Kovalev rival this?
