Regardless of whatever is floating out there on social media, a fight between junior welterweights Mauricio Herrera and Hank Lundy has not been finalized.

Eric Gomez, Vice President and matchmaker for Golden Boy Promotions told BoxingScene.com on Monday morning - "It's not done, there have been some discussions but it's not done. We're still working on it."

Herrera, had a tough luck 2014 with losing very disputed decisions to Danny Garcia and Jose Benavides, sandwiched around a victor over Johan Perez. Lundy is coming of a tough ten round split decision loss to Thomas Dulorme back in December. Herrera-Lundy looks to be an interesting pairing.

Things have been very unfortunate for Herrera, from the Garcia fight to the Benavidez fight(which i think was closer than people thought).This is a decent matchup between 2 guys coming off close losses, but i hope Herrera wins.
