What would happen if Wlad couldn't utilise "Clinchski" in fights?

We know why don't somebody in the Heavyweight Division come up with a Gameplan to neutralize his tactics and beat him at his own game.

Kell Brook knew Shawn Porter was a Clincher as well and loved to hold, so Kell came prepared for that inside stuff and beat that man at his own game to the point in which after the fighter Porter had the nerve to complain about Brooks "Clinching"

This is why Fury vs Wlad at least intrigues because I think Tyson will give him taste of his own Medicine. Tyson can grab and lean on Wlad as well and Tyson is BIGGER.

But it is up to their opponents to do something about it NOT the Ref, only thing the ref should do is call Break and if the fighter is not breaking when the ref says Break, then you warn and if he keeps holding on when you call break then you deduct!
It's all well and good when you're talking about lower weight classes as they all similar sizes within the division. Brook clinching Porter was easy for him as they were a very similar weight on fight night.

Wlad has a huge weight and height advantage in the majority of his fights, and as such he can dominate the clinch by putting his weight on the opposition fighter. This will then tire them out as well as preventing them for punching. There is no question of beating Wlad at his own game, unless you're Tyson Fury.

Wlad is like Khan at 135....if Khan had learnt to clinch.

Size advantage shields their defensive liabilities, but they had been lucky that most of their opponents were short asses with no power......look at the way they both lost to power punchers with good length...Prescott and Sanders basically walked up to them and couldn't miss because Wlad/Khan were so used to guys who couldn't reach them easily.

And Wlad also has the stamina vulnerabilty...too big a man to fight at a fast pace....clinching lets him take huge breaks...

But the heavyweight division is full of lard asses with no power and ordinary boxers who would be better if they got in real shape and fought at cruiser...

Since he lost to Brewster, Wlad has fought 2 guys with genuine power, Haye who was too small, and Peter before he became a total joke.....and got dropped 3 times by the crude nigerian...Id honestly put money on Wilder... he has length and power...live dog against Wlad...

Errr - what? He got clocked and was temporarily rocked for about 10 seconds where he holds on and recovers, and once Haye gets up after he pushes him down, he's right back to work and pretty much dominates the round except for Haye swinging for the fences and pot shotting...never understood where this myth came from that Wlad was anywhere near being KO'd, it's certainly not in that footage...

he'd have rough fights and retire early.

i still don't think he'd lose. heavyweights are f#cking bad.

Not sure if it would have done much of a difference vs the guys he's fought since his last loss. Maybe Haye and Povetkin would have a better chance, but I think it would matter in his next fights against guys like Wilder and Fury.

Same thing that would happen to Andre Ward.

                  63% say he'd be KO'd.

I think the Mormeck fight was a particular low point.
