Why do the Mayweathers have so much disrespect for Manny

The last time I felt Floyd made a real statement was when he beat up and Ko'd Corales.

That was a long time ago.

Manny Pacquiao is a whole different ball game.

I can see Floyd getting a decision.

But making a statement or knocking Manny out like Roger and Jeff suggest. I think it's a long shot.

I think Manny will eat some Floyd rights. No getting around that. But that's because Manny forces the action.

I'm picking Manny to win the fight. But I can also see Floyd winning the fight(but by decision).

My beef with the Mayweather group is that they feel it will be easy. It will be anything but easy.

These 3 guys are just gonna look so ****** if an A+ Manny shows up May 2nd and wins a UD or TKO's Floyd.

Because Floyd is a much better fighter and has endued countless criticisms all in the name of Manny , Floyd will make a statement in this fight and set the record right as to who is the better fighter .

before it was Pac-Man he was supposedly afraid of Cotto, Hatton, ODLH, Mosley, and Canelo....he beats them and in come the excuses....after he beats Manny they will cook up another fighter....this has been going on since the mid 2000's


Roger and Floyd Sr are insulting Manny.....oooooh poor Manny, while millions upon millions of people insult Mayweather on this site, in the media, on radio, everyday


Manny is the most beloved athlete I've ever seen.....Mayweather not so much


Manny will be ok.....Floyd has half the planet dismissing his career, his resume, and accomplishments on a daily

If I'm not mistaken since the fight was announced, Roach has been talking negatively about Floyd and his family repeatedly; yet you see, "one" video of the Mayweathers talking down on Pac, and you want to start a thread because of it. Pot calling kettle black.

even if floyd beats pac, he can't match pac's resume.

If Floyd beats Manny his resume will clearly be better

floyd only got himself to blame. he's his own boss.

He has accomplished more and by adding Manny to his list he will be held higher in history , who ever wins this fight will over shadow the loser in any debate about them for eternity , you dont have to be Einstein to realize winners are grinners in this world .

I just watched a you tube video that has Floyd Sr., Roger, and Jeff together giving commentary on Manny Pacquiao.

The 3 of them are just utterly dismissive that this fight will be even remotely competitive.

Roger is the most disrespectful of the 3. It almost offends him if anyone even suggests that Manny would last a round with his nephew. He has a venomous snear on his face as he says these things.

These 3 guys are going to look like fools if this fight is even half way competitive.

But my larger issue or question is this: Why do they have so much contempt for Pacquiao. They are all(especially Roger) almost visceral in their tone towards Manny.
Is it because he's Asian? Is it because they think he's a steroid cheat? Is it because Floyd Jr. is percieved by many as being afraid to fight Pacquiao? Is it because of Roach(and his being a 7x BW's trainer of the year recipient? OR IS IT ALL OF THE ABOVE?

i dont think him being asian has anything to do with it. im pretty sure some kids they train are pinoy. but i would say it has to with everything else you mentioned.

I think the biggest point of disrespect towards Floyd is the perception that he was ducking Manny. And this may fold into the 3 Mayweather's showing their disrespect.

I personally feel that Floyd enjoys playing games with people BECAUSE HE CAN. Like buying the sports car in the wee hours of the morning BECAUSE HE COULD. I think a lot of the percieved ducking of Pacquiao may have just been AN "UP YOURS" TO BOB ARUM.

It's hard to wrap my head around the idea that Floyd was "afraid" of Manny.
I'm not saying he isn't afraid. But I just question it. He's too accomplished to be afraid of Manny. But maybe I'm wrong.

I think a better word is concerned about Manny. Because Manny is going to put some leather on him. And it's going to be hard leather.

It also makes me believe that the older Mayweather's themselves are overlooking Manny. But I wonder if that arrogance and dismissiveness superimposes onto Floyd jr.

If it doesn.....than it could be a shocking experience for Floyd jr. Becasue Manny is going to take Floyd where he hasn't been. And the reverse is true. Manny has a riddle to figure out on May 2nd. And this riddle is a hell of a counterpuncher.

They are disrespectful towards everyone, they never have anything good to Say about other fighters other than " they ain't shieet" Jeff is not as bad as the other two though, he's actually a pretty funny dude.

Yes,..............I agree,..for this fight Roach has talked most of the ****. About 70% of it.


But the whole "Freddy the joke coach Roach" goes back to the Hatton fight and the ODLH fights.

Floyd sr is a sore loser with Narcissism he cant even give people credit after that HAtton KO he left the ring, after all the sh1 he talked on Pac and roach about pac being a bum with no skills and going to get ko in 3, he ran out the ring and gave an interview saying only reason Pac won was because they gave him steroids.


Floyd slandered Pac because he couldn't just say the better guy won. Floyd sr really drug Pac name tot he mud with lies.
