If the gloves are approved by the NSAC there isn't much Roach can do, there is no way this fight is being called off by somebody crying about approved gloves because they want some type of advantage.

Mayweather got away with that bull**** against Maidana because hes an ******* and Maidana let him but I think if Maidana stuck to his guns he would've gotten his way too, it would be pretty embarrassing to call a fight off over gloves that have been approved by NSAC and too much money would be lost and law suits filed.

Maidana tried to cheat with the first pair of gloves. He and his team brought the problems on themselves. I don't recall EM, ODH or any other fighters being considered a b*tch for choosing the gloves.

Smart move Freddie. Make sure the gloves meets the right requirements. I only hope Ellerbe watches Manny wrap his hands and don't allow him to "stack" them.

So much game ship from this camp. You're fighting an old, legs shot, brittle hands, boring, makes a lot of mistakes, with no punching power fighter in Floyd. Why worry. Manny told you he would KO Floyd, and you Freddie, predicted a KO. Manny has said he's improved sing being put to sleep. He no longer lunges, and fights off balance. He no longer drops his hands when punching, his "killer instincts" is back. hes stated he knows the mistakes floyd mzkes, and he can expose his defense. He's faster, stronger, and the bigger puncher.

I dunno how anyone says that first pair of gloves Maidana had didn't look suspect. Even the commission ruled out that pair, but Floyd should have let Maidana wear the red one's.

Everyone is going to be arguing on Saturday night and I'll be stretching out in my hotel room in Makena Beach in Maui watching the fight card on my laptop which starts at 3PM in Hawaii and then going out to Lohghi's in Lahaina for some great Italian food. Boxing Scene will probably be frozen with too many people connecting and I'll be having a frozen Magarita. I get to avoid all that and watch a sunset from the second floor of the restaurant. Whoever loses the fight, some people are going to depressed. I wont give it a second thought, I'll be on my Maui vacation having a shtload of fun!

If I'm not mistaken the first pair of gloves had almost no padding and were wrapped in saran wrap. The gloves didn't pass inspection.

I am not sure why this thread has so many responses. The commission and both teams always inspect the gloves before the match anyway.
