NEW YORK – Wladimir Klitschko quickly mapped out his foreseeable future after beating Bryant Jennings on Saturday night at Madison Square Garden.

The 39-year-old Klitschko expects to encounter England’s Tyson Fury in his next fight. If he defeats Fury and WBC champion Deontay Wilder wins his first title defense, Klitschko thinks he and Wilder could meet in a full heavyweight title unification fight early in 2016.

“I just got the news that it was my free title defense against Bryant Jennings and now I have to go back to being obligated to defend my titles,” said Klitschko, who defeated Philadelphia’s Jennings (19-1, 10 KOs) by unanimous decision (116-111, 116-111, 118-109). “I have mandatories. I don’t know who is exactly in the line, [which] one of the federations it would be. But the way it looks, Tyson Fury is going to be my next challenger.”

After last night, everybody with half a brain (AKA HanzGruber status) knows Wilder would demolish Wlad. The youth and athleticism will be the difference... If he thought Jennings was athletic and mobile, damn. Not to mention Wlad loses the size advantage he has feasted on through his entire career. Add to all of that the fact that Wilder has 32 KOS in 33 fights.

Forget Briggs - let Jennings fight Wilder. He acquitted himself well and that would be a good fight in America, 2 young fighters, the 2 best in that country, and if Jennings could win then he would have some credibility to have a rematch v Wlad, in a unification.

            Wlad v Fury

            Wilder v Jennings

            Povetkin v Joshua (mid-late 2016)

If Wlad could beat Fury, then follow it up with another voluntary at the end of 2015, followed by a unification in the first quarter, another voluntary, then getting rid of someone like Glazkov could set up an early 2017 fight with Joshua. Win and retire, or pass on the torch if Joshua can win. If Wlad sticks around for all that that is around 6 defenses, closes him in on Louis' record, but I really don't think he will break that.

Boy you really like talking **** to GGG's promoter. You should thank him for GGG's success otherwise GGG would still be getting ****ed over in Germany.

You would need to have only half a brain to hold an opinion like that!

As someone with a whole brain, I don't think Wilder would have a clue how to cope with Wlad's movement and jab. Jennings is a level above Wilder and he couldn't do it.

The fight won't happen though. Even if Wlad beats Fury, who is by far his biggest threat, Haymon won't let him anywhere near Wilder.

He paid off the WBC once to get Wilder his shot at the belt and he'll pay them off again to keep Deontay safe from harm till he's ready to cash out on him.

Wlad just wants to keep proving he is the best. Got to love it. Though I seriously doubt Haymon let's Wilder anywhere near Wlad.
