He has a fair point. People moan so much about Vlad, when champs of the past did the exact same. Ali was quite a clincher in his later years.

The only fight of Wlads that is more clinchy than the Ali/Frazier fights is the Povetkin debacle.

And Jennings is approximately 100x and Povetkin approximately 300x better than ****ing bummy little Frazier who wouldn't last a single punch from WK.

            Get real!

Do you think Wlad even clinches half the time. To me its his defence being so good and the other guy failing to fight out. Jeenings and imo Povetkin both have chances where Wlad openly does start the clinch and also has his hands free.

Ali here was deliberately holding Frazier neck

You not supposed to mention this... Doe.

This is old news, if Wlad was American he is GOAT.

He's Eastern European sub human trash to over fifty percent of the forum, to the other fifty he is the best of his era and would have competed in other era's to us.

Ignorance is bliss to these shallow boxing fans, who care more about nationalities and skin colour, than testifying to the profound legitimacy of Wlad's ATG qualities.

Yeah of course it's not Wlad's fault most of the time. The opponents try to get inside with this misguided belief that that's the best place to be but reality is that they are ill advised, that's probably the worst.

He will never be beaten that way.

Ali grabbed because he had to grab. Wlad grabs because his opponents make him grab them. Huge difference..

But try and get a nostalgic nut bag to admit that and you'll be a genius!

Ali is the go to defence for Klitschko fans, as if people in Ali's time didn't criticise his holding and his style.

Another big difference. Ali started clinching more when he was visibly on the decline against great fighters. WK has done it throughout his prime years against fighters such as Lepaei and Jean Marc Mormec, who stood literally no chance of winning even without the clinching.

Ali clinched, WK has taken this to a whole new level, against opponents who he didnt need to clinch against.
