If cotto vacates, canelo cotto can happen,GGG can get his belt, and cotto can avoid a beating. Cotto is avoiding the hell out of GGG,because he knows that golovkin can put him to sleep with both hands,to the head or to the body. And for the record, cotto beat a one legged Martinez, the same Martinez that was ducking GGG when he still had 2 good legs. Don't use HBO as an excuse for cotto staying as far away as possible from golovkin .

Cotto will vacate WBC title rather than fight Golovkin

"He [Golovkin] has to wait like anybody else," Cotto told ESPN.com. "He can do whatever he wants. My career does not depend on Gennady Golovkin. Everything I do will be the best for me. That is what I will do. If that is fighting Gennady Golovkin, I will do it. If not, he can take the middleweight title. He can take it."

We reached out to Cotto and we didn't get any response

"We reached out to Cotto before we got this fight [against Willie Monroe Jr], and we didn't get any response", Loeffler said via ***************.com.

Cotto would lose to both Canelo or GGG. The bigger money is in the Canelo fight so obviously HBO wants to make that fight first. But Cotto's team is shook about GGG no doubt, they get defensive as hell when he is brought up. Canelo would beat him, GGG would retire him.

How is this in favor of the point you're trying to make? It fits right into what I'm saying. Cotto wants the dough, GGG doesn't bring that. Canelo does. **** the belt, he wants the paper. He's at the very end of his career and deserves it. Aren't you guys always saying he's not a "real" MW champ anyway? So why should his "fake" belt even matter?

HBO wants Canelo to beat Cotto so GGG can beat Canelo.

Nobody wants to see Cotto fight GGG for the matchup, we know who is getting KTFO'd. We just want this belt fiasco to go on quicker so GGG can become Undisputed Champion.
