Pacquiao's not really that good at closing distance. He's fairly average but Floyd's not the mover he used to be either.

All this psychological stuff from Floyd is not stuff we're used to hearing from him.

While Mayweather isn't as calm as he would like us to believe, he isn't lacking any confidence. Mayweather looked a bit off in the build up to Mosley, also brought back some of his old training routines, chopping wood, and in the early rounds while Mosley looked very tight, Mayweather looked a little tight himself. What I'm saying here is, Mayweather is serious and understands what he's up against. Mayweather repeated it twice and said "One thing we do know is that Pacquiao is not gonna go on survival mode".

For years now Mayweather has been successful in making his opponents check out mentally, it doesn't matter what he brings on May 2nd because Pacquiao has never shown those characteristics; checking out, Mayweather understands that for the first time in a while he is gonna have to physically slow down his opponent, he'll have to put more emphasis on it than he has in years.

I don't know why people get too emotional over what he says though, Pacquiao said Oscar and Cotto were tougher opponents going in, that's about as ****** as anything Mayweather has said to this buildup.

It's true, Floyd does hold all the cards in the psychological category. He's getting more money, he picks ring size and fight production, he gets more seats for his people and Haymon. He's also getting way more air time on Showtime and even HBO and ESPN. The media wants to see him, not Manny.

Ringside will be filled with nothing but A-list celebrities who are rooting for Floyd. Manny fans will be confined to the cheap seats in the very back.

Great post! Floyd was right in the beginning against Mosley! He showed me something knew in that fight! After being hurt bad he came out the next round on a mission! I think he will start tight this fight, but will be extra sharp!!

Yup, Floyd is actually talking about himself. Mirroring his feelings.

At the presscon as a viewer the signs were there. He wasn't talking smack or trash talking. that ain't the usual floyd, while Pac was in his usual jolly self relaxed and composed smiling for the cameras when all these were happening i swear Floyd's eyes look like he seen a ghost in Pac.

Plus when they met in the hotel room when they were sizing each other up in the couch, Floyd couldn't even look Manny in the eye, All the while he was looking at Konz. That say allot about a person.

Body language 101, sincerity, integrity, and confidence are found when you look at a guys eyes when you talk, if you aren't doing it, that's very questionable. It means your either intimidated, or not in the level of the other person. This is all on video.
