If Mayweather is that shot to lose to Pacquioa maybe he should retire. But look for May's crescendo performance may2. Pac will be on the outside looking in all night long. People literally will be crying. Will hate Mayweather all the more.

I remember reading an article where it said the Pac and May team had agreed to a rematch clause in the beggining of the negotiations. idk what happened after that got rid of the rematch clause. anyone know?

        No it isn't strange

        It's actually smart

More people will probably buy the ppv because there is no rematch clause

"This is our only chance to watch them fight each other"

From an advertising and commercial standpoint, it's smart

I think there will be a rematch .

I don't see the need for a rematch clause. If it is close or controversial in some way and the public or one of the fighters wants a rematch, the fight will happen. Too much money involved unless it is a dominant performance by one guy and even then......

I am confused. Wasn't it Roach who said back in NOV 2014 that Floyd was asking for a rematch for the Pacquiao fight?

"My understanding is that Floyd is insisting on the rematch if Manny beats him, which I believe he will," Roach told Jeff Powell of the Daily Mail. "That's okay with us."

This is how you know Roach and his team are full of crap.

I remember that it was Manny who shut it down. He said that if there is a rematch clause in that same contract, even if he wins the fight he'll end up getting 40% again on their rematch. I think it's a good move on Manny's part. He said he don't want to go through that again (negotiating with Floyd and his team). But rematch in this kind of magnitude really need to happen depending on the outcome of their first one.

You gotta be awake from your coma floyd to excercise a rematch. besides took you 5-6 years to grow a pair of ba l l s. after getting ran thru on 5/2 i doubt your going to ever step in the ring again. start putting handicap signs on all your cars.
