Sad performance by Dirrel, something tells me he took Badou lightly and didn't fully prepare for this fight like he should have.

na he trained for a knockout and found the target harder to hit than it seemed..he's always been a questionable overall boxer and tonight it showed..has to want it more..has to learn more technique while showing a better understanding of where he is at in the ring..

That was a very good performance from Jack, reminded me of Ward a lot, that said...Jack ain't shit really, just really brought it tonight.

jack is 6'2 at that division he's a problem if u dont have a complete tool box...and he showed he'll take your shot unlike he did before...ward is the only guy that i say flat out beats him...he going to ko groves

I felt that Dirrel landed the better punches. He wasnt as effective as he should have but Jack wasnt as good as the commentators were making it to be. Dirrel 7-5

it's possible..both guy would do good and then catch leather..badou just had more charisma while dirrell's body language was terrible..hitting the canvas several times, back against the ropes, looking fatigued at points..

i agree with farhood on every round except maybe the 4th and the 12th

Badou Jack came in and earned his title. Props to him. I'm probably happier for Eddie Mustafa Muhammad though, because he's been a Jack believer for a while now. I'm glad to see all the hard work pay off.

What does PBC stand for, Pure Boring Competition? If PBC is trying to reel in the casual fan it is not going to work. Simply because if I, who will watch just about any televised fight, have been rather bored with most of what they have showed then the casual fans must have been fast asleep long before the main event started. There was also nothing about tonight that had the feel of championship boxing, absolutely nothing. And as far as the overall presentation in my opinion HBO has nothing to worry about because they are head and shoulders above everyone else in every way when it comes to putting on a show. With that said cong**** to Jack because he earned the win.

Dirrell is the very definition of a frontrunner. Starts bright enough and then fades dramatically down the stretch of the fight, especially when it's put on him. Same thing happened in the first Bika fight where he got a lucky draw.

i know one or 2 callers on thaboxing voice that praised dirrell for takin this fight..and now u see why..jack is not cake walk like a little running daniel geal, or martin murray or w/e...he has a lot of tools, speed, and size to match with it

then it's one caller that said jack would win for weeks...hahaha everybody going to be eating crow
