It was just a dumb statement. The reason roach is a trainer is because his decade of experience in being around boxing, he has learned alot. The only reason ellerbe is around is because he is a yes man

Let's emphasize on the part where I said "if he wasn't a coach". All he do is talk about what Pac is going to do to Mayweather. The same thing Ellerbe is saying what Mayweather is going to do to Pac. If Ellerbe was a coach, he would be Roach.

Ellerbe is the CEO of Mayweather Promotions, Roach is what exactly? Oh he's some trainer that doesn't teach defense and has never raised a champion from scratch. I see it now. Ellerbe is clean cut, well spoken, and has lots of money. Roach might be a little jealous perhaps.

Ellerbe is in the position he's in because he's Haymon's ears. He was fired last year and brought back because Haymon wanted him there. Frankly calling him the CEO of anything is laughable because all of Ellerbe's job was handled by Richard Schaeffer which is why Floyd was jumping at the chance to hire him but he couldn't. Anyone who has actually bothered to follow Floyd's career prior to him fighting Hatton and DLH (which removes about 80% of ya'll fake floyd fans) would know Ellerbe was a pleb who did nothing but carry buckets for Roger and worked the corner for him (massaging floyd's arms). His greatest contribution was introducing Floyd to Haymon. This is a guy who can't properly say words, same guy who couldn't get a seating arrangement right...At least Roach isn't pretending to be something he's not. Don't like either guy but at least Freddie earns his check..can't say the same for Leonard.
