Manny Pacquiao vs Bernard Hopkins if they were the same size?

Imagine that the current version of BHOP shrunk down in size to Welterweight and took on Manny Pacquiao.

If you want to get more technical, then substitute a prime BHOP instead of the current one.

    Who takes this one?
    48
    BHOP wins
    27.08%
    13
    Pac wins
    72.92%

Hopkins would frustrate the hell out of Manny and win a wide decision

Proportionally, if you created larger and larger clones of Pacquiao for higher weight divisions, he would annihilate everyone from Ward all the way up to Klitschko.

A 225 lb. Pacquiao is the stuff of nightmares.

Hmmm, interesting matchup, never even thought of it. Not a Hopkins fan but respect his skills, I think he can negate what PAC does like he has with countless others.

Manny's handspeed would be too much for hopkins, just like he was troubled by the handspeed of roy jones and Calzaghe.

Same size I would favor manny to outpoint hopkins

wow, I was the first to pick Pacqauio

I have a rep as pac basher but im just a straight shooter

Hopkins only had trouble with one attribute.....speed and activity

Hopkins isn't the best athlete but a master at thinking and tactics but speed was his Achilles heel.....loses to Taylor, Jones, Calzaghe illustrated that if he couldn't control the pace it was an uphill battle

I feel the exact same way. Think about this for a second, a Timothy Bradley was able to frustrate Pac, particularly more so in the first fight. If Timmy could do it, BHOP the master would have Pac cursing in his native tongue and cursing God.

I suggest you go watch the replay. Bradley won the first fight, the second fight was very close, but Pac edged it.

If you think he only won 4 rounds in 2 fights, I might have to suggest you try another sport.
