He picked Pac. But he backed it up and it is a scenario I can see happening. He said that Pac will build up an early lead and Floyd will make a comeback but run out of rounds.

I mean I guess Floyd being lackadaisical is a path to victory, but I don't see that really being Floyd.

That is not exactly what I would call a good look on Floyd though, since he is basically saying he can do it all but he is going to **** it up in a simple way.

on the other hand the talent pool for boxing is probably smaller today than before, which would tend towards an overall decline in talent

There is that, but the cream of the crop is still going to be ahead of the game I reckon. There would just be less of them

George Foreman keeping it real. People love to romanticize about the old days and give those fighters more credit than they deserve. I know i'm in the minority when I say that, but I've never seen any fighter from the old days fight like Roy Jones or Floyd Mayweather.

Yesterday: Foreman is an old hating bum who doesn't know jack shhh with his bitter @zz

Today: Foreman is on point. Of course he's right that man knows his boxing and he got his money off them grills.

This here is an example why boxing has gone to shhh period. We love people when we agree but trash them when they speak their mind and it clashes with our opinion. The reality is today's boxer has more advantages to go back and utilize something someone else came up with so yes today's fighters are smarter because they can go back and utilize any number of tactics that work to their strengths. Philly shell and shoulder roll were not just invented, nor was the bolo punch and plenty of other stuff used today. The issue at hand is that those dudes don't get the credit for their creativeness either.

The talent pool isn't smaller today because the entire world is now the talent pool, and in the past that simply wasn't true.
