The World Boxing Council has ordered a final WBC eliminator between Nonito Donaire (34-3, 22KOs) and Hugo Ruiz (35-2, 31KOs).
Ruiz has won four fights in a row since losing a very close twelve round decision to Koki Kameda in December 2012. His last fight was in November with a first round knockout win in Mexico.
Donaire was knocked out by Nicholas Walters last October, at featherweight. He moved back to super bantamweight and knocked out William Prado in the second round in March.
